Vaccination Camp at Sadarmangala Slum Board

This project was in partnership with Rotary Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas. Through this program, 285 people(above 18 years) received the 1st dose of vaccination for free. Rotary members also cooked delicious meal and distributed it to 475+ people including people who were vaccinated.


Children Vaccination Camp at Sadarmangala Slum board

Sadarmangala has a 650+ shelters colony, built by Slum Board of Karnataka, to provide basic amenities and houses to the slum dwellers and to improve the social awareness and uplift the living conditions and income generation activities of the urban poor.

Due to low literacy and destituteness; parents don't take their children to GH for vaccines, so RBITC arranged vaccination camp with the help of GH KR Puram, for children below age of 5 years to cover their WHO recommended vaccinations at their doorstep. A total of 14 children got vaccinated including a day old newborn.

Facilitated multiple house-helps & other residents in communities for vaccination at PHCs

RBITC facilitated multiple house-helps & other residents in communities for vaccination @ PHCs. A small step to control spread of COVID-19 among priority group. Total 97 vaccines were facilitated in Month of July 2021


Safety Gears Distribution to PHC Hagadur

A combination of N95 masks, 3 ply disposable masks, face shields, sanitizer spray and bottles, and a few PPE kits were handed over to keep the medical staff safe, as we are preparing for the predicted third wave. Hagadur PHC has catered to patients' needs from 4 plus containment zones in the recent past.



Mask Distribution : Provided 15000 masks to SSLC Students

On July 19th 2021, lakhs of students of age 15 to 16 were appearing for their SSLC examinations in Karnataka. The Rotary District Literacy team jointly with Disease Prevention team Lead by Rtn S Jayraman and Rtn Tasleel and esteemed clubs from district 3190 had the endeavor of providing about 1.4 lakhs of N95 face masks to the children appearing for the examinations in Rural Areas of RID 3190 limits.

As a part of this district project,
RBITC sponsored 15000 masks, which Rotary Mandya handed over to BEO.


Session on Health and Mental Hygiene for 65 women staff of Bangalore Traffic Control Centre

Our member, Rtn Dr Seemanthini conducted a two hour session for 65 women staff members of Bangalore Traffic Control Centre on Health and Mental Hygiene. The Joint Commissioner, Sri Ravikante Gowda was also present for the session and has personally requested for such useful sessions every week.
